Lust

Black satin silk caress the bodies, entwined in the folds.
You and I both, meeting each other's demands,
For love.
For lust.
For warmth.
For comfort.
And escape into a world of fantasy.
Where it's just you and me.

We need a distraction, to escape from this wretched world.
You and me;
Me and you;
No one else but us.
Two people who needed nothing but each other.
Under the shadows of sheets of satin black.

As the night wore on,
The insatiable melodies of our voices melding in harmony.
Soprano,
Alto,
Tenor,
Bass;
Rising higher and higher,
Past the nine clouds of sheer euphoria.
Not a care,
Nary any worry.
Just the two of us.

And we floated back down softly,
Back to the black sheets of satin silk.
Crooning amorously into each other's ears;
Of unrequited love and our pledge
To always be together.
And never walk alone.

I cuddled you amidst the sea of satin silk,
Assuring you that you'll never be alone.
And that you don't have to be afraid anymore.
For we'll face the world together.
The two of us.
You and me.
