My stint in m:idea finally end (I miss that place. No really. The company. Not the office lah). I must say, I should pat myself on the back for a job well done. *pats back*

Yes, the reason why I've not been blogging lately is because I've so much shitload of stuff to design (yet, still can have 2-hour lunches, mini breaks in between, pretentious tea-time sessions, camwhoring and L4D) and also our dear Mr. Ronald MacDonald is stalking and tracking every means of access to every social network that you have. Like a (pussy) cat. meow~

And it's great working with my other designers from Inspire Design Maisharaqh and Elise. They are godsend indeed and made the six-months vacation in hell a bit more bearable.

1) Nokia Rekonstruck.
An inter-school battle of the bands, with the Wildcard round being the most aggressive round as I kept getting notifications from so many people to "like" Stopgap not only on Facebook but also on formspring, twitter, etc. And the notifications kept streaming in even after I liked the page. Chill guys.

Grayson's slippers last warning. And oh, those peanut butter cupcakes taste as good as they look.

2) Jamie XX | Stereolab

Dubstep. Metallic beats. The occasional scratch on the vinyl. All mixed into one hell of a magical night at Stereolab. So magical, that glasses dance and spill their contents in close proximity with Jamie XX. It's hard to believe that he's only 22-years-old. Photos from Popspoken's Facebook page. After getting bored of Jamie XX (should have stayed for his cover of Rolling In The Deep) and with a rather drunk Rachel unabashedly dancing on the podium we went to Play for some kinky lesbian night as a "pre-party-drink-till-you-drop-drunk-in-vomit before Ramadhan" for me and uh, lesbian night for Rachel, Francesca and Si Jia. And no, I did not get drunk hence I'm not in slut mode but unfortunately my clothes are, with just enough cloth to barely cover my skin. Which then leads to advances from this rather persistent Indian guy, a rather cute bung, and some hot Indie kid. Oh well, asexual (and sober)~

3) HYPEd-UP! Flea Market

Something that I really look forward to, as this means half-day work the next day (oohhh yeah). Cheap clothes galore, and rather sore Iffah disapprove of this black dress which I wanted to fashion into a top. ):

Supposed to take pictures for DBS and HYPE photowall but most are spam pictures of the m:idea kids. Hehh. But hey I still got my job done.

4) Warpaint | St. James

Warpaint was amazing, and Jenny is so gorgeous with her faded pink hair. My favourite is still Theresa though. She's absolutely stunning. Not like the others aren't, of course. Throw in a few secondary school juniors (with two of them openly lesbian and hugging each other), coloured spotlights and amazing music, it was a visually arresting performance.

5) B.O.B.

Went for B.O.B. with the most unlikely set of companions. Our motley crew consisting of DX, Firdaus and Tiffany. B.O.B. was awesome and got acquainted with these two really amazing girls.

6) m:idea pot luck and final presentation

Rushing last minute input into slides and having a pot luck lunch (boo) with Pictionary.

Award goes to Kevin for the most ingenious drawing ever.

Drawing: A 10-cent flag. And when no one got it, he drew chicks singing. Because chicks "cheep" hence "cheap" lol.

7) National Day And The Tea Thief

Went out with the lovelies to celebrate National Day but the closest we got is watching people running towards the direction of the fireworks and the lights flashing on the surrounding skyscrapers.

8) Ann Siang & Boutique Hotels

With angsty Adlin and crazy Carissa chillin' at Ann Siang lounging on the cafe and musing on booking the hotel there. Topping the night off with L4D and Cold Stone with Grace, where we met an Ievan look alike. I saw him twice. And both at Cold Stone. Both times in heels.
