This is the stupidest tweet regarding Islamic matters I've ever seen. I mean, everyone have four chambers in their hearts: the ventricles and the atriums. So I despise these tweets without any prior knowledge or research whatsoever and just grab assumptions by weaving thin air into something.
The reason why men are allowed to have up to four wives is due to ancient practices of treating women as properties before the coming of Islam in pagan Arab lands. Men can marry as often as they liked and women have no rights back then.
With Islam, the women have the right to reject a man's proposal of marriage and for a man to have more than a wife means that he must be extremely wealthy and there should be no bias or favouritism amongst the wives.
And a significantly overlooked claim on Islam practising woman's rights: they are not tied to their husband's surname. Wait, Islam don't even have surnames.
